Neupro - updated side effect information

Neupro, from UCB Pharma Limited

About medicine

The safety information for UCB's Parkinson's disease and restless leg syndrome treatment rotigatine, brand name Neupro, has been updated to include diarrhoea.

Following a review of safety signals (reports from doctors) there seems to be support for a possible causal association between the Neupro use and the occurrence of diarrhoea. Based on the current evidence the frequency of this side effect in patients taking Neupro is unknown.
